What is the minimum number of participants required for a group lesson to take place?

    • There must be a minimum of 2 people signed up for a group lesson to occur.

Can I receive a refund if I withdraw from a group lesson before it starts?

    • If the minimum sign-up requirements are met, but you wish to withdraw your registration before the lesson starts, you will get a refund minus a cancellation fee of 30% of the total amount.

What happens if the minimum sign-up requirement for a group lesson is not met?

    • If the minimum sign-up requirement is not met, we will refund you.

Can I cancel my participation in one of the group lessons if I’m enrolled in a group session?

    • If you are part of a group lesson, you cannot cancel participation in one of these lessons. We do not offer drop-in group lessons, so when you start taking a group lesson, you are committing to the group session (usually 4 to 7 weeks).

What happens if I miss a class due to circumstances on the academy’s part?

    • If a class is missed due to our part, this class will be given on the week of the Make-Up day assigned for the session. If you do not attend during the makeup week, the class will not be given as a credit or refund.

Are there any make-up classes for missed makeup classes?

    • There are no make-ups for missed makeup classes. We are holding that spot for you, and if you miss it, you miss it.

Do I need to pay in advance for private, semi-private, and group lessons?

    • All private, semi-private, and group lessons must be paid in advance.

How much prior notice is required for lesson payments?

    • Payments must be received at least 2 days prior to any lesson to give the instructor proper time to prepare.

How can I cancel a class?

    • For cancellations, please contact me directly at least 24 hours before the class.

What happens if I confirm but don’t show up or cancel at the last minute?

    • If you confirm and don’t show up or cancel at the last minute, the lesson will be charged. There are no credits extended or carried over to the next session. If it rains or I am unable to make it, the class will carry over to the next session.

What is the policy for missed classes and make-up classes?

    • We thought it would be a great time to talk about our policy when it comes to making up missed classes.

Do you provide make-up classes for missed group lessons?

    • In terms of us providing a make-up class for missed group lessons:
      • It will be up to you to contact us about organizing the makeup class.
      • Once you get in touch, we will provide you with information on our make-up days, depending on availability.

How can I organize a make-up class for a missed group lesson?

    • Please email mariotennis@hotmail.es or text to give notice that you cannot attend and also organize your make-up class.

What is the notice requirement for a make-up class in a group lesson?

    • If you don’t provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice or a doctor’s note (if less than 24 hours), a make-up will not be offered.

What is the cancellation policy for private and semi-private lessons?

    • Cancellation must be given at least 24 hours prior to the lesson in order to be given a make-up credit. If both participants cancel more than 24 hours prior to the lesson, the lesson will be made up at a mutually agreed time.

What happens if one participant cancels a private or semi-private lesson?

    • If one pupil is to miss class, no make-up class will be offered as the session still goes ahead with the other pupil regardless.

What is the policy for lessons affected by rain or court maintenance?

    • In the event the court is wet or under maintenance, the lesson will be canceled. Cancellation determination will be made by the coach, sometimes as little as 2 hours before the lesson is scheduled to occur.

Are there any credits or carry-overs for missed lessons?

    • There are no credits extended or carried over to the next month.

Can I receive a refund for missed makeup classes?

    • We cannot always guarantee that a make-up class will be available to our students. Refunds for missed makeup classes are not provided.
